Afterschool Clubs

Planet Art is a magical, educational and unique arts and crafts club, teaching children to recycle, reuse and reimagine. 

At our afterschool clubs the children are encouraged to collect junk materials and turn them into joy.  During the term, children will create 3D functional models, drawings and paintings.  

Our creative arts and crafts sessions offer educational and fun activities that will help your child develop some important skills.  Art stimulates the development of a child’s attention span and concentration, and crafting helps them learn how to follow instructions.  Fine motor skills are developed through activities such as cutting, painting or stringing beads and all our activities touch on STEAM learning, introducing your child to science, technology, engineering, art and maths in a fun and creative way.  

This type of learning inspires children to ask questions, make connections, problem solve, think creatively and be innovative. Most importantly though, our sessions develop children’s imagination and creativity. 

Planet Art provides all arts and crafts materials and long-sleeved aprons. 

Suitable for Reception to Year 2, we cater for a class of up to 20 pupils. We cover SW18, SW19 and SW20. 

We also provide end of term parties for the Year Group and can tailor these to fit with your theme.  For example, we recently worked with The Study Prep, Wimbledon Village, to celebrate Africa.
